Pre-emtive Patching

One aspect of a regular maintenance program that gets overlooked all too often is regular pre-emptive asphalt patching & repair. This item basically involves the repairing of problematic areas as they begin to show themselves instead of waiting for full blown failure.

The reason that this is so important in maintaining a healthy pavement structure is to eliminate the possibility of water penetration under the asphalt and causing additional and/or larger issues with the sub-pavement, load-bearing structures. This approach saves money in the long haul.
